Director of Dosimetry - Mountain West

CAMP has an exciting opportunity for a board-certified medical dosimetrist to take on the newly created role of Director of Dosimetry and support our growing dosimetry program. The Director of Dosimetry will oversee CAMP dosimetrists in relation to clinical practice as well as act as a Medical Dosimetrist. This candidate will ensure that medical dosimetry processes are standardized and implemented across all CAMP therapy sites in accordance with nationally recognized best practices and lead PQI projects to support best practice initiatives. This will be a primarily remote position with some potential for on site coverage as needs arise and minimal travel expectations (depending on home base location). Clinical work hours will generally align with clients in the Mountain Time Zone. Relocation expenses will be considered for candidates willing to relocate to Colorado, and preference will be given to candidates based in or willing to relocate to the Mountain West Region.

Candidates must be AAMD certified and have a minimum of five years medical dosimetrist experience.  Eclipse and Pinnacle experience are preferred, but not required.

Therapeutic Medical Physicist - Colorado Springs, CO

CAMP is currently seeking a clinically focused medical physicist based in Colorado Springs, Colorado who will perform clinical medical physics tasks in collaboration with team members under the overall direction of our Chief of Therapy Physics. Board eligibility or board certification is required for this position. The successful candidate will support a dynamic center with two Varian Truebeams, a Cyberknife, and a Varian Bravos HDR. This center operates with Aria, Eclipse, VisionRT, and MIM.

Colorado Springs is located at the base of America's Mountain, Pikes Peak, and boasts beautiful scenery and outdoor recreation year-round. Also known as "Olympic City USA," Colorado Springs serves as the training grounds for athletes from across the nation and has a brand new Olympic Museum. The Pikes Peak Region is home to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Air Force Academy, Ft. Carson, the Broadmoor, Garden of the Gods, multiple trail systems, outstanding restaurants, and year-round activity. With a high-desert climate there is little humidity and much sunshine to enjoy the great outdoors.

Therapeutic Medical Physicist - Edwards, CO

CAMP is currently seeking a board-certified, clinically focused medical physicist to lead the department at Shaw Cancer Center with the regular support of a second physicist under the overall direction of our Chief of Therapy Physics. Shaw Cancer Center is part of Vail Health and operates in a full Varian environment while supporting an active special procedures program to include linac-based stereo & HDR treatments. Professional involvement and project work is encouraged within the physics group and 3-D printing is actively supported at this cancer center. Board certification and leadership experience are preferred for this position.

Edwards is located in the beautiful Vail Valley and boasts easy access to multiple world class ski resorts, mountain recreation, fine dining, cultural events and more, all while maintaining a small mountain community feel. Opportunities for local employee housing are available.

Therapeutic Medical Physicist - Denver, CO

CAMP is currently seeking a clinically focused physicist based in Denver, Colorado who will perform clinical medical physics tasks in collaboration with a second physicist under the overall direction of our Chief of Therapy Physics. Board certification is required for this position. The successful candidate will be the primary support for a dynamic center with a Varian Truebeam and a Varian iX (with plans to upgrade to a TrueBeam in 2023) that treats a variety of modalities and special procedures including HDR, SRS, SBRT, IORT, and TBI. Currently the center utilizes Pinnacle, Mosaiq, and MIM, but has plans to transition to Aria/Eclipse in the next year.
