Annual Training for Level 2 MRI Technologists
Training on practical aspects of the ACR Manual on MRI Safety for both MRI technologists and other Level 2 MR personnel.
Note: ASRT requires no more than 3 quiz attempts so you must pass within 3 attempts in order to get the certificate and ASRT credit for this course.
Level 2 MR personnel are healthcare providers who are trained to work in MRI environments and have a higher level of MRI safety training than Level 1 MR personnel.
Level 2 MR personnel can:
-Operate the MRI scanner without supervision
-Supervise Level 1 MR personnel and visitors
-Administer the MRI safety screening
-Give final approval for an individual to enter the magnet room
