Colorado Associates in Medical Physics

We provide regular medical physics services to several radiation oncology departments and cancer centers throughout Colorado.

In addition to regular physics coverage, CAMP is able to provide short-term coverage, conference and vacation coverage, as well as special projects such as machine acceptance and commissioning or supporting a special procedure.

CAMP employs ten physicists who have specialized in therapeutic medical physics and are certified by the American Board of Radiology.

We have strong experience with Varian linear accelerators (Clinac series and Truebeam units), Cyberknife, and Tomotherapy.  We have worked with multiple treatment planning systems (Pinnacle, Eclipse, Ray Station, MultiPlan, iPlan) and have experience with both Mosaiq and Aria Record & Verify Systems.

For HDR we have utilized both Varian and Nucletron planning and delivery systems for multiple types of treatment applications (both intracavity and interstitial). CAMP physicists have experience with external beam therapies, brachytherapy, HDR planning, permanent prostate seed planning, stereotactic procedures, dosimetry review, image fusion and dose accumulation, as well as intraoperative radiotherapy.

CAMP can guide you through all aspects of Radiation Oncology, including:

Prostate Implants

ACR Accreditation Support

Treatment Planning and Dosimetry Review

Monthly and annual machine QC

Shielding Design and Verification

Machine acceptance and commissioning

Weekly continuing medical physics checks
