Jena Burrow, M.S.
Jena Burrow has been with Colorado Associates in Medical Physics (CAMP) since January 2023. She brought to CAMP close to 20 years of Radiation Oncology experience. She began her career in Radiology Technology as an X-ray tech, then quickly moved on to becoming a Radiation Therapist. She received her Bachelors in Medical Imaging in 2005 from Washburn University. After 10 years working as a therapist, she wanted to pursue Medical Dosimetry. She received her Masters in Medical Dosimetry from Southern Illinois University in 2016, and passed the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board in February 2017.
While working as a Medical Dosimetrist, Jena has been exposed to a wide variety of clinic environments and physician preferences. She brings to CAMP expertise in planning in Eclipse TPS and Aria, with additional knowledge in MiM and Mosaiq. She has knowledge and experience in planning 3D, static IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS. She also has experience with Radformation software products. Jena came to CAMP with experience in managing multiple dosimetrists, that are both on site and remote, in addition to managing multiple clinics in various locations.
Jena maintains active memberships and credentials with Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board, American Association of Medical Dosimetrist, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, and American Society of Radiologic Technologist.
Jena lives in Windsor, Colorado and enjoys spending her free time with her husband, 3 boys, and 3 Labradors. When they are not busy with sports, they enjoy getting to the outdoors to do some camping, hiking, and ATV riding.
