Nick Stanley has been with CAMP since 2021. He specializes in therapeutic medical physics and is certified through the American Board of Radiology.
Nick works with and has experience with various treatment units including, but not limited to, Varian 21EX, Trilogy, and Truebeam Linear Accelerators, Varian HDR Afterloader, and Tomotherapy. He has experience with external beam therapies, brachytherapy, HDR planning, prostate seed planting, stereotactic therapy, dosimetry review, image fusion and dose accumulation, as well as R&V systems and intraoperative radiotherapy.
Nick completed his Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics (his favorite non-Earth astronomical object is the Sun) and a minor in Mathematics at Brigham Young University. He then completed a Masters of Science in Medical Physics at the University of Arizona, and also studied Medical Physics at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI before taking his first clinical job in Flint.
Nick grew up originally in the San Francisco bay area before moving to the town of Folsom, CA in the foothills of Sierras. Currently he is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He moved here both for the love of the mountains and to be close to his two children. They enjoy outdoor activities together, and spending indoor time playing games and relaxing with their pet ball python, Wafflez.
