Rebecca Balmer has been with to Colorado Associate Medical Physics (CAMP) since June 2023.
Rebecca brought to CAMP more than 35 years of Radiation Oncology experience. Starting off in dosimetry at the University of Michigan, taking her clinical experience from there to working in various vendor positions in Radiation Oncology, before returning to clinical dosimetry in 2001. She became a Certified Medical Dosimetrist in August of 2013, and prior to that obtained a Master’s of Administration (MAS) degree earned in 1997. Her Master’s thesis was on remote dosimetry.
Rebecca has vast experience in many venues; large and small, on-site and remote. She has broad knowledge of both Monaco and Eclipse TPS, and a robust skill set of treatment methodologies on both Monaco and Eclipse including, SBRT, VMAT, SRS, IMRT, DIBH, and 3D. In addition, to the TPS systems she is proficient with Mosaiq, Aria and MIM software’s.
Rebecca has lived in Albuquerque NM since 2019 with her husband Jeremy and their cat Duecey, and step dog Chonco. They love all of the diverse beauty in New Mexico, and hike and bike as much as we can. They also end up doing a lot of road rally’s and events with the Subaru New Mexico car club.
