Jerry White is a clinical medical physicist in Colorado Springs, retired from full-time practice but still affiliated with Colorado Associates in Medical Physics, Penrose Cancer Center and St. Mary Corwin Regional Medical Center. He is board certified in Radiation Oncology Physics, Diagnostic Medical Physics and Medical Nuclear Physics.
He has been active in professional associations (AAPM. ASTRO and ACR) having served as Secretary, President and Chairman of the Board of the AAPM. Currently Jerry is the chair of the ASTRO Code Development and Valuation Committee and is involved in policy matters relating to CPT code implementation and usage. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Medical Physicists without Borders and is active in providing support for medical physics related needs in developing countries.
